there's so many things to ask for Lord
so many concerns and needs and desires and wants
but first..... i just have to breathe in the slightly stale pizza-tinted air here in upper archer and thaaaaaaank you from the bottom of my heart for every moment every heartbeat every soul every sprout in the ground and droplet of water falling on the windows.
you are a great and marvelous God. you are a supreme and awesome wonder and i worship you tonight in this old building and think of the dear sister so far away.....
God.
be in her.
be her comfort when she is afraid and unsafe inside.
she desires to live in the present, but Lord. do more than that.
help her to just be so static and electric with every passing moment.
that from the first crack of her eye opening in the morning her heart would sing to live for you. her soul would shine with a light that pushes her to want more and more abundant life.
let her heart not be troubled about fears involving chase and his wellbeing.
Lord. he is safe in the palm of your hand and let that same hand that holds him stroke caitlin while she waits patiently to be with Chase again. let them be close in spirit and that your sweet sweet peace would infuse her.
Lord be with her mind as she prepares for the celebration of her life that is coming up in June (!!!!!!) please lead her thoughts through and around creative ideas that make her happy and excited and let her preparation for this occasion be one of order and peace.

i haven't been very faithful in keeping up with the daily comings and goings of my friend steph. but i thank you so much for her and her presence in my life, even though were thousands of miles apart.

whatever struggles she's having, please be real and in the midst of that. thanks for her faith. whatever questions she's dealing with, bring her peace, even if there aren't answers. whatever difficulties she's having as an RC, give her patience. help her to be selfless and loving and real with people. bless her relationships. keep her safe so i can see her and hug her again.

help her to be herself.
don't let her run too dry, okay?
give her all those good things and blessings that you've promised us. she shows that she loves you more than almost anyone i've ever known. i know you'll bless that.

my Lord! i cry out to you on behalf of my sister and cherished one, caitlin...
her experiences even in breathing are changing her as i sit here....
pinch her with a holy sign that you will be her encouragement.
that you will be her fire.
that you will cancel her fear.
that you will lift her to blessing.
that you will cause others to see yourself shining through her.
you have walked beside her, you have spoken to her face, you have enriched her life indeed!
Now, Lord, as you have promised, be her Great Shepherd and undo her impatience and anxiety. Undo any place in her that causes her to lose self control when she sits down to eat a meal.

allow your light to penetrate her darkness
and give her hope
hope and the fruit.
let her see how her presence is causing others to notice beauty of an ancient kind. the beauty of Grace. May your grace just shift her from her nook of fear.
and then catch her up in your warmth.
be in her team!
be in her sleep!
be in her food!
be in her music!
be in her prayers!
and hear mine, Lord Christ.

you have prepared her for Great Things and she is in your hand.
God, as she gets on a plane and fishes through her heart for the strength to make it over the sea, Lord, sit her on your lap and hum to her so softly and make it a dear time of hope.
she is anointed Lord. i know you made sure that happened before she set off, so
in Jesus' Name, get that darkness off her heart so that she may perfectly love you and worthily magnify your Holy Name!
make her feel ready for anything, capable, energized, awake, intentional.
help me to be faithful to her in prayer, God.

with all the abundance i can muster, i thank you for my friend stephanie plant. i thank you for her love, her affirmation and her sincerity. most of all, i thank you for her restless and alive spirit that so often brings me out of my sad little world of anxiety, fear, and general self-centeredness. i am blessed; and for reasons i don't own...

you are a faithful God, so i'm praying with faith that you will see to all the things on steph's heart.

first, i pray for success on walkabout...though not success in the sense that it will be easy and painless. but success that it will be full of growth and stretching and hopefully not too much self-pity. giver her peace and get her prepared!

second, i pray for steph's future. i believe that you have set her way in gold, father. i can't doubt that there are big plans for her life, and i pray that you would help her get there without too much trouble from her concerned father, or worries about finances. you are a provider. we choose to trust you in that. please guide steph in your perfect timing and give her the patience the capacity for life that she needs to sink her teeth into whatever she's doing.

thank you so much for her family and the support it brings. please protect them. please make them rich in wisdom and love, and keep them forever close-knit. thank you for their endeavors to honor you, and i pray that as her mom opens up this ridiculously cool Curves in Morocco that you would help her to reach so many women with love and acceptance as they improve their health in your name! what a wonderful endeavor! thanks, Lord.
